Fort Amarillo RV Park and Resort has more than just spaces to park your vehicle. The resort has a hot tub, recreation hall, indoor pool and tennis and basketball courts. Pets are welcome and the park also has its own dog run. Guests can fish in the resort’s private fishing pond, swim, play sports, play in the children’s playground or use the on-site putting green. Fort Amarillo has a dump station and propane, and is located close to area restaurants such as Logan’s Roadhouse, On the Border and Joe’s Crab Shack.

Amarillo Ranch RV Park has 140 RV sites, with 65 pull-throughs and 75 back-ins. Big rigs are welcome. Sites come with cable TV and wireless Internet access. The Ranch has a 40-foot indoor heated pool, steam sauna and Jacuzzi spa, as well as a clubhouse featuring a full kitchen, party rooms and a fireplace. Laundry and shower rooms are also available. The camp offers free coffee and doughnuts daily, and barbecue grills and a large pavilion for group or family cook-outs. Amarillo RV Ranch is close to Wonderland Amusement Park, the Big Texan Steak Ranch and Palo Duro Canyon.

Every RV site at Overnite RV Park has cable television and free wireless Internet. Phone hook-ups and 50-amp electricity are available at most sites as well. Some spaces are open and some are shaded; all sites are pull-through. Overnite RV is pet-friendly and even has seven sites specifically for campers traveling with dogs, which feature their own fenced-in exercise areas. The park also offers laundry facilities with computer hook-ups, propane, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a children’s playground and picnic areas. Overnite RV participates in the Good Sam RV Club.
