The Countrywood Inn & RV Park in Longmont has 20 RV sites located next to an inn with 10 bedrooms. Situated in the center of Longmont, the RV park is open throughout the year and offers easy access to the attractions in Boulder that are 15 minutes away. The RV park has nightly, weekly, and monthly rates as well as discounts for campers who stay on a seasonal basis. The sites, which are located in a grove of large trees that provide plenty of shade, are 20- to 50-feet long and come with water, sewer and either 30- or 50-amp electric connections. Located within the Longmont city limits, the Boulder County Fairgrounds has a camping area with 92 sites that can accommodate RVs. The sites do not have sewer connections, but they have water and electric connections up to 50 amps. Campers are drawn to the fairgrounds for a host of events throughout the year, including trade shows, animal and livestock shows, fairs, rodeos, parties and large meetings. The farmers market along with 4-H club meetings are also held at the fairgrounds. Recreation opportunities in a park with showers and restrooms include hiking, picnicking, and fishing at Fairgrounds Lake. Children are also welcome to fish in a pond on the fairgrounds. The campground is open year round.

The St. Vrain State Park, which can be found on the outskirts of Longmont in Firestone, has 87 campsites in eight separate campgrounds, Most of the sites are located along the banks of ponds and all of them have a grill, picnic tables and concrete pad. Nearly half the sites have electrical hookups up to 50 amps with water and a dump station located nearby. Over half the campsites have water, sewer and electric. The campground, which is open throughout the year, is in a park with restrooms, pay showers and a meeting room. Recreational options include 3.5 miles of unpaved bike trails, hiking trails, and boating and fishing at the park's various ponds. The campground often fills up on the weekend, so reservations are recommended.
