Wales West RV Resort

• Situated in the town of Silverhill and near the Gulf of Mexico, the Wales West RV Resort has RV sites with feature water, sewer and 50-amp electric connections. The sites at the Phase 1 section of the resort also have cable television, a patio, a picnic table, WiFi access and extra parking. The sites in phases 2, 3 and 4 do not have cable television, although most of them do have WiFi access. The resort has a community building that overlooks Lake Victoria and hosts various events. An enclosed swimming pool and hot tub are located in the center of the community building, which also houses three bathroom/shower combinations; a library; an exercise room; a coin-operated laundry facility; and two playgrounds for children. Gazebos, a sandy beach and a waterfall, also reside on the resort. You can even take a steam train ride, which you can pick up at the park.

Lake Early RV Park

• Lake Early RV Park, in the southwestern corner of the state, is open throughout the year and has RV sites featuring water, sewer and electric connections. Both pull-through and waterfront sites are available for RV campers. The park has its own lake, stocked with tiger bass. No fishing licence is required. Fishing and boating also are available, in the river three miles from the park. Amenities on the property, which is open 24 hours a day, include a laundry facility, restrooms and showers. Lake Early RV Park is located an hour from the Mobile, Alabama, and the Gulf Coast.

Interstate-65 RV Campground

• The I-65 RV Campground in the Mobile area has RV sites with water, sewer and either 30- or 50-amp electric connections. Primitive tent camping sites also can be found on the property. The campground boasts a store the sells groceries, RV supplies and ice. Outside of the store, there is a soft-drink machine and a propane filling station. Additional on-site features include a dump station, a stocked fish pond, a laundry facility, a play area with horseshoes pits and a basketball court and bathrooms with showers. Telephone hook-ups are available for campers on extended stays, with daily, weekly and monthly rates. The campground is conveniently located off Interstate 65's, Exit 19.
