Living Forest Oceanside RV Park and Campground is set on 53 acres of grounds with 300 campsites available. The park was given gold medal status by the readers of RV West magazine. The sites are full-service or just camping sites, offering amenities like wireless Internet, electricity, water and sewer access, or no amenities at all in the case of camping. Campers can choose from ocean-side sites, riverside sites or forest-side sites. The Living Forest Cafe is located on the grounds, plus there are showers, bathroom facilities, laundry, playground, volleyball courts, basketball courts and a host of outdoor activities.

Westwood Lake RV Camping and Cabins is on the banks of Westwood Lake where there is trout fishing, hiking and biking trails plus the beach. The park offers its campers 38 sites with showers, laundry facilities and full-service hook-ups for the RV, but seven of those sites only have water and electric. Westwood Lake is near Morrell Nature Sanctuary, Buttertub Marsh, Jingle Pot Pub, the Aquatic centre, Beban Park recreational centre and just outside the nightlife in Nanaimo.

The Mountainaire Campground has 100 sites sitting near the Naniamo River where campers will find boat rentals, fishing, water activities and mountain trails. Fire pits, barbecues, playground for the kids, horse-shoe pits and beach volleyball are available to all the campers. The sites have either full-service RV camping with all the amenities or tent sites, depending on the environment desired. The campground has a recreational facility where campers will find an arcade, convenience store and laundry room. Showers, toilets, firewood and playground are all made available to the campers.
