The Snake River Park KOA is 15 minutes from downtown Jackson. The site is on the banks of the Snake River and close to the Gros Ventre natural hot springs and wilderness. For hikers, the campsite and RV park are minutes from the trails of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. Snake River is also a destination for white-water rafting. Snake River KOA offers a full water, sewer and electric hookups. There also are cabins for rent.

The Virginian Lodge RV Resort is less than a mile from Jackson. Amenities include a restaurant, saloon, liquor store, hair salon, heated pool and hot tub, coin-operated laundry machines, a convention center and an entertainment salon. There are 105 RV sites. The resort is near the National Elk Refuge, where more than 8,000 elk spend the winter.
