The Star Camping and Caravan Park is a family-oriented RV park near the popular Alton Towers theme park. Not only is this camping park less than a mile from the Alton Towers park but it also offers a large play area as well as scheduled activities for families. The park is large and has a number of sites with electric hook-up (10 amp) and fire pits. Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash, but portable barbecues are prohibited. There is a dish-washing sink, coin laundry, a public phone, gas sales and vending machines on the grounds.

Somers Wood Caravan Park is located only a few miles from Birmingham. This park offers 48 campsites, but tent camping is prohibited. Each site comes with 10-amp electricity.
