RV Parks in Indiana

There are many attractions in Indiana to entice recreational vehicle (RV) travelers and those who love outdoor adventure, including swimming, golfing, skating, fishing, boating, horseback riding and hiking. Take a dip in Lake Michigan or hike around the Devil's Punch Bowl at The Shades state park in central Indiana. There are other attractions in Indiana as well. In the spring, you can attend the Indiana Festival in Conner Prairie, while the summer brings Frankfort's Hot Dog Festival. In addition, the Atlanta New Earth, Potawatomi, Covered Bridge and Apple-Popcorn festivals takes place every fall, as well as the Feast of the Hunter's Moon in Lafayette, Indiana.

    • Lake Monroe Village is located on 130 acres in southern Indiana. The resort not only has RV camping but log cabins, A-frames, tent camping, vacation villas and mobile homes, as well. There are 75 RV sites with sewer, water and electrical hook-ups and 50 sites with water and electric, only. The park also has VIP sites, which include a patio area. Lake Monroe Village also offers a laundry room, shower and restroom facilities, a playground, five hiking trails and an outdoor pool, open during the summer months.

    Caboose Lake Campground

    • Caboose Lake Campground is a pet-friendly RV park located in northwest Indiana. It has its own 20-acre stocked fishing lake, dog park and waterfront sites. There are 115 RV spaces, all with full sewer, water and electric hook-up. Wireless Internet is available throughout the camp, which also offers a playground, swimming area and beach, horseshoes, sand volleyball and planned activities. Guests can rent paddle or fishing boats, while ice, LP gas, bait and firewood are sold on-site. Caboose Lake RV Campground also has tent camping and cabin rentals. Guests are less than two miles from Green Acres Golf Course, and less than 15 minutes from softball parks and downtown Kokomo.

    Springhill Campground and Pay Pit

    • Springhill Campground and Pay Pit is located about one hour from Indianapolis, in north central Indiana. The campground has 11 pull-through sites, available for short-term, single night or weekend stays; nine sites with full sewer, water and electric hook-up, for monthly or longer stays; and 85 seasonal sites that can be used for 70 nights per season. The camp also includes tent sites. Every type of site includes electricity and water. Springhill Campground has a playground, swimming pool, bait shop and the Pay Pit, a six-acre lake stocked with catfish.
