Black Oaks Park is in southeastern Boonville, approximately 10 minutes south of the Missouri River. This park is primarily a permanent mobile home park, but as of 2010 had nightly, weekly or monthly rates for five RV spaces. Monthly RV space rentals include electric hook-up costs. All of the paths in the park are paved and some of the spaces have tree shade. The park is less than 10 minutes from restaurants and shops in downtown Boonville, such as Breadeaux Pizza and La Hacienda. Hunting and fishing activities are available at Franklin Island Conservation Area, less than 15 minutes from the hotel.
Situated in southern Boonville, RV Express is right off Interstate 70 and is a 10-minute drive from shops and restaurants in the city's downtown area. The RV park is also less than five minutes from the Settler's Inn, a lakefront restaurant that serves country-style cuisine. Fishing opportunities are available at Harriman Hill Access, approximately 15 minutes from the RV park. This recreation area is on the Lamar River and features a boat ramp. RV Express has 224-hour check-in services for campers. The park's 16 RV campsites have hook-ups for electricity, sewage and water. Pets may stay for free, but they must be leashed. Parking spaces are available for boat trailers and a on-site convenient store sells RV supplies and ice.
Katfish Katy Campgrounds in western Columbia faces the Missouri River and features private fishing piers and boat docks. Hikers and bicyclists are within walking distance of the Katy Trail, which passes through the campground. Other campground features include picnic tables, shower facilities and barbecue grills. Each of the park's 38 RV campsites has a hook-up for water and a barbecue grill. Electric hook-ups are available for seven of the RV campsites. Reservations are required if guests bring more than one car. Columbia, the home of the University of Missouri, is approximately 15 minutes from the campground. Off-site fishing and hunting spots are in the Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area, which is less than 10 minutes from the campground.
