A&B RV Park

• Set in the middle of Silverton itself, A&B RV Park was established by lifelong city residents to cater to visitors who want easy access to shops and restaurants as well as the outdoor activities the area offers, such as fishing and hiking. Cable television and Internet are available, and large rigs are welcome. A&B RV Park provides both 30 and 50 amp service, along with water and hookups and a dump site. Rates change on a yearly basis, so call ahead. The park is open from May 1 to mid-October, depending on weather.

Silver Summit RV Park

• From mid-May to mid-October, Silver Summit RV Park offers its services to Silverton RV tourists. Dip into the onsite hot tub or browse the souvenir shop before walking into the city to enjoy a historic walking tour or museum. This park is AAA approved and recommended by the Colorado Association of Campgrounds. Full hookups are available at each RV site.

Red Mountain RV Park

• Open from May to October, this newer RV park hosts 38 full hookup sites with daily, weekly and monthly rental schedules available. Pets are welcome and children under 5 stay free. Red Mountain also offers a playground, Internet and laundry facilities. For the adventurous souls, there are also Jeep and ATV rentals that can be taken along off-road trails. Don't forget to check out the hourly snowmobile tours.

Peaks of Silverton RV Resort

• While the Peaks of Silverton RV Resort doesn't offer much in the way of shaded campsites, it does have spacious back-in sites, allowing for 40-foot RVs and extensions. Amenities include a Jacuzzi, sauna and private showers. Full hookups are available, including electrical, water, cable and Internet. Enjoy the easy access to local attractions such as the Durango-Silverton Steam Train and the local Silverton Theatre Group.
