Fort Casper RV Park, situated along the North Platte River, provides campers with 89 RV sites, 14 of them pull-throughs, and all of them featuring full hookups including water, electricity and sewage. The campsite also features a bath house with restrooms and showers. The family-friendly camp site has three playgrounds, a pavilion and plenty of picnic areas. Some of the activities include fishing in the pond or river, as well as hiking, biking or wildlife viewing through the River Walk Trail.

Casper KOA Campgrounds, located in pronghorn antelope and deer country, sits near some plains along the North Platte River, an area apparently unaffected by time. RV campers at Casper KOA benefit from the landscape and recreational activities in addition to the pet-friendly campgrounds. Casper KOA can house a vehicle with maximum pull-through length of 80 feet.
