RV Campgrounds in Casper, Wyoming

Casper, Wyoming is known for its outdoor attractions. The city likes to bill itself as Wyoming's "Adventure Capital" because of its numerous opportunities for hiking, skiing, biking, snowmobiling, camping, golfing and fishing. The area also has its share of art and culture, and is the home of the Stage III Theater, the Casper Children's Chorale and the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra.   1. Fort Caspar Campground

    • Fort Caspar has a children's playground.

      Fort Caspar Campground has 86 RV sites and is located on the North Platte River. The campground has a lodge, playground, picnic areas, fitness room, laundromat and game room. Guests are welcome to fish in the river if they hold a current state fishing license. The Fort Caspar office has fax machines for guests use and food items for sale. Vending machines are also located adjacent to the playground. Fort Caspar offers wireless Internet access, 30- and 50-amp electrical hook-ups, and discounted rates to members of AAA and Good Sam RV Club. RV sites can accommodate larger rigs.The campground is pet-friendly, with a limit of two pets per unit, and pet exercise areas are provided in the camp.

    Casper East RV Park and Campground

    • Leashed pet are welcome at Caspar East RV Park.

      Casper East RV Park and Campground is family-owned and contains numerous guest activities, such as miniature golf, a pool, a spa, a playground, a game room, and ice cream shop and a library. The park also has high-speed Internet access, both 30- and 50-amp electrical hook-ups and cable television. The campground has 62 RV sites with full utility hook-ups, and some sites are pull-throughs. The campground also has a laundry room, dump station and shower facilities, and guests can purchase RV supplies, souvenirs and propane on-site. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.

    Casper KOA

    • A golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones is located nearby the Casper KOA.

      Casper KOA features 55 RV sites, tent sites and one-room cabins. All sites come with free wireless Internet access, and cable TV is offered in 45 of them at no extra charge. Thirty five sites have full water, electrical and sewer hook-ups, and 20 have water and electric only. Both 30- and 50-amp electrical service is available, and some RV sites are pull-throughs. RV sites can also accommodate up to 80 feet. The campground also has a dump station, hot tub, miniature golf course, playground, and indoor swimming pool. Guests can rent bicycles and buy LP gas on-site. Pets are welcome and the KOA campground also has an enclosed dog walk, although owners should call ahead when making reservations to ensure the camp has not already exceeded its pet limits. Public tennis courts are located across the street from the campground, and golf enthusiasts will find two public courses nearby, including one designed by famous golf course architect Robert Trent Jones.
