There is camping available right on the speedway grounds. Free camping, on a first come-first served basis, is available for those who show their tickets for the Sunday race. For a price, guests can even camp on the infield at Talladega. These campsites are available for tents, pop-up campers and RVs. Rates begin at $275 and can be as much as $1,650. There are also reserved camping sites available which are not as costly. The Speedway has an interactive wizard on its website which helps travelers choose the best campsite for their party.

Wazoo Campground is located only half a mile from the Talladega Superspeedway. Campsites are generally rented from Tuesday before the race until the Monday following. There are primitive sites available for as little as $20 per night. The RV campsites are grassy and level, and accessible by gravel roads. All RV sites include 30-amp power and water hookups. Private portalets and golf carts are available for rent at Wazoo, and dumping services can be arranged.

P and J Campground is a small, quiet campground about five miles south of the speedway. No electrical hookups are provided, but guests are welcome to use their own generator. There is a new shower house, and guests can rent their own private portalet. RVs, pop-up campers and tents are all welcome, and sites rent for about $200 a week. Pumping services can be arranged for $35. The campground is a short distance to the free parking area at the speedway.

From Jackson Trace Campground, visitors can take the "Redneck Limo" for easy access to the speedway. A round trip fare is $5. Firewood and ice are sold at this campground which hosts primitive, pop-up and RV camping. The RV sites are equipped with water and electric hookups and cost $200 for four persons, Thursday through Monday. There are hot showers available for all campers, and a dumping station is also on site.

Talladega Knights RV Park is a family owned and operated campground with 150 RV hookups equipped with sewer, water and power. All the RV sites accommodate pull-through arrangements. Primitive campsites are also available, as well as hot showers. There is 24-hour security at the campground, and shuttle service and golf carts are provided for access to and from the speedway. On Friday nights, the campers can enjoy karaoke, and live bands perform on Saturday night.
