Situated in Muskegon, the Duck Creek RV Park is a family-oriented campground within walking distance of the Michigan Adventure amusement park. The family atmosphere is enforced at Duck Creek with a prohibition on vulgar language and loud, offensive music. Also, all children under 16 must be back in their RVs by 10 p.m. as of fall 2010. The resort offers an outdoor swimming pool, clubhouse with a game room and an on-site convenience store that sells groceries and camping supplies. The RV campsites have hook-ups for water, electricity, sewage and cable television.

Campers who like to fish should check out the Kibby Creek Campground in Ludington. This campground features private ponds stocked with salmon, and a Michigan fishing license is not required. Other fishing-related amenities include a fish cleaning station, and live bait is sold at the campground's convenience store. Vacationers can bring their own RV to Kibby Creek or rent one of the campground's trailers. The campground is open year-round, and the RV campsites offer water and electric hook-ups in all of their sites. Some of the sites have sewage hook-ups. Tent camping is allowed.

The White River RV Park, in the heart of Manistee National Forest, has 235 sites for RV and tent camping. The RV sites allow vehicles up to 44-feet long and feature electric, water and sewage hook-ups. The campground also offers its own 44-foot long RV for rental. Complimentary access to Wi-Fi Internet is available at the campsites. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, dump station and hiking trails throughout the campground. Kayak and canoe rentals are available for water activities on the White River and Lake Michigan, which is less than 10 minutes away.

Dune Lake Campground in southwestern Michigan is right off Interstate 196, and it is only a five-minute drive from beach and boating activities on Lake Michigan. The campground has an on-site convenience store that sells groceries, ice and camping supplies. Firewood can be bought at the store, but it cannot be brought from outside the campground by guests. The campground provides 85 campsites, and 40 of the sites have RV hook-ups for water and electricity. Tent camping is permitted. Pets may stay at the campground, but they must be on a 6 foot leash. The resort provides a dumping station and shower facilities.
