Michigan Forest Campgrounds

The state of Michigan boasts approximately 19 million acres of timberland, including the massive Huron and Manistee National Forests in the northern region. Many Michigan-based forests feature multiple campgrounds equipped with tent, RV and cabin facilities. Despite extremely snowy conditions, some of the campgrounds remain open during the winter months.
