Campgrounds in Port Austin, Michigan

Port Austin, Michigan, located near Lake Huron and its many beaches, offers visitors plenty of outdoor activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, golfing, skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, hiking, kayaking and biking. In-town attractions include shopping, fine dining, Port Crescent State Park and the Port Austin Reef Lighthouse.     • Windy Hill Campground is a private campground offering visitors a heated pool, restrooms, showers, horseshoe pits, playground, clubhouse, basketball court, laundry room, pavilion and volleyball court. Some sites have full hookups, including water, sewer and electric, and dumpsters are available for trash. Memberships must be purchased in advance, and all members must follow the rules and regulations of the campground. RVs are welcome; long-term sites are available. The campground is located near Port Crescent State Park and Lake Huron.

    Duggan's Family Campground

    • Duggan's Family Campground is open year-round. Its amenities include a laundry room, convenience store, heated swimming pool, pool table and game room. The convenience store is also an ice cream shop. The campground lies within Huron County Park and is near Hat Point Reef, Rush Lake, Port Crescent State Park and Albert East Sleeper State Park. The campground can accommodate both tents and RVs, and many sites are shaded, treed lots. Duggan's Family Campground can host large events such as reunions, weddings and birthday parties.

    Port Crescent State Park

    • Port Crescent State Park has two campgrounds. The Port Crescent Camper Cabin area includes 400-square-foot cabins with showers and bathrooms located in an updated section of the campground. The cabins sleep as many as six people and are located near scenic wooded areas. Near the cabins are fire pits and picnic tables. The Port Crescent-Modern campground is open to tents, campers and RVs, and also has minicabins available. This campground has electrical outlets and restrooms. There are 127 sites available. Local attractions include beaches and Lake Huron's Saginaw Bay. Local activities include hiking, boating, fishing, skiing, hunting, sunbathing, canoeing, kayaking and wildlife viewing. The park also has a children's play area.
