Red Top Mountain State Park, which is located about 45 north of Atlanta, offers 18 camping cabins and cottages in addition to its lodge and campsites. The park's cabins and cottages feature central heat and air, fully-equipped kitchens and bath and shower facilities. Red Top Mountain's cottages and cabins are available in one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations. The park is located on Lake Allatoona and it has boating, fishing and swimming activities for visitors. There are more than 10 miles of hiking trails at Red Top Mountain, and there are guided hikes with rangers on the weekends. A miniature golf course and a full-service restaurant at Red Top Mountain State Park also are available.

Seminole State Park is located in the southwest corner of Georgia next to Alabama and Florida. The park offers visitors 14 camping cabins and cottages that have central heat and air, full kitchens with utensils and cutlery and bathrooms with showers. Seminole State Park is on Lake Seminole, which offers visitors boating, fishing and swimming activities. The lake has five boat ramps for guests. The park also features hiking trails, a miniature golf course and three docks for fishermen without boats. There is also a man-made beach for swimming and picnics on the lake.

Mistletoe State Park is located on Clarks Hill Lake in Appling, which is about 20 miles from Augusta. The park has 10 cabins and cottages that are right on the lake. The cabins feature central heat and air, fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms with showers. Mistletoe State Park has amenities like boating, fishing and swimming on Clarks Hill Lake, hiking and mountain biking trails and a man-made beach for swimming and picnics. The park has three ramps on the lake for visitors with their own boats.
