RV Campgrounds in Vermont

Vermont, known as the Green Mountain State, is divided into five distinct regions, each with beautiful countrysides and warm New England villas.   1. Waterhouses Campground and Marina

    • Waterhouses Campground and Marina is located in south-central Vermont. This campground has 71 sites that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A few of these sites may be rented for the entire season, which runs from Memorial Day weekend through October. Sites are wooded and private with electrical and water hookups and a picnic table. A dump station is located in the campground as well. Paddle boats and canoe rentals are available at the marina. An on site store offers bait, tackle, camping supplies, ice and snacks. Swimming is permitted at the lakeside beach during the summer months. There is also a recreational hall with pool tables and arcade games in addition to a big screen television. Other activities include miniature golf, hiking, bicycling and nature watching.

    Sugar Ridge RV Park

    • Sugar Ridge RV Park is located in northeastern Vermont and has 150 wooded campsites for tent or RV campers. Hookups range from water and electric only to water, electric, sewer and cable hookups. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Wagon rides are offered throughout the facility for all guests. Amenities include two heated swimming pools, a miniature golf course, tennis court, camp store, playground and shuffleboard court. Guests may also enjoy volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, hiking and bicycling. Free wireless Internet access is available. A shower facility and laundry room are on site. The campground sponsors frequent organized activities, such as Christmas in July, Hawaiian luaus and pie-eating contests. Sugar Ridge RV Park and Campground is open from May through October.

    Lake Champagne Campground

    • Lake Champagne Campground is located in north-central Vermont and provides full service RV sites in a quiet wooded setting. RV campers will have access to a dump station and laundromat. A three-acre lake provides opportunities for swimming and fishing. There also is a game room with arcade games, pool table and ping pong. Other activities available include volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard and a playground. A camp store provides souveniers, camping supplies and snacks. A pavilion may be reserved for family reunions or corporate parties. High-speed wireless Internet access is available for all guests. Pets are welcome at this campground and there even is a dog walk area.
