Campgrounds in the Mora, Minnesota Area

Mora is a small rural community in the east-central portion of the state. Visitors will find several camping opportunities in Mora and the surrounding area. Local attractions include walleye fishing on Mille Lacs Lake, Mora Golf Course and wildlife viewing at the Tosher Creek State Wildlife Management Area.
  1. Fish Lake Resort & Campground

    • Fish Lake Resort & Campground is located five miles to the south of downtown Mora on Fish Lake. It offers full and partial hook-up RV sites and rustic tent sites with all including a fire ring and picnic table. Resort amenities include a camp store, coin-operated guest laundry and modern bathhouse with private showers. The Pavilion is an on-site Bar & Grill that includes an ATM machine, video games and live entertainment on select weekends. Fish Lake Resort has canoes, kayaks and fishing boats for rent, along with bait and tackle for sale in the store. Other amenities include a playground, fishing piers and swimming area.

    Woodsong Campground

    • Woodsong Campground is located six miles to the west of Mora in the Ann Lake Wildlife management Area. It offers full and partial hook-up RV sites that include a picnic table and fire ring. Facility amenities include a restaurant, camp store and lodge with high-speed Internet access as well as a bathhouse with modern restrooms and private showers. Recreational amenities include a game room, large sports field, and outdoor pool with sundeck and hot tub. Guests have access to Ann Lake from a short walking trail, where there is a swimming area and several boats to use.

    Father Hennepin State Park

    • Father Hennepin State Park is located 20 miles to the northwest of Mora on the southern shores of Mille Lacs Lake. Both campgrounds located within the park have electric-only campsites that include a picnic table and fire ring. Each campground has its own dump station, water source and modern bathhouse with private showers. Park amenities include two picnic shelters, 2 fishing piers and a boat launch,as well as a large sandy beach with swimming area. There are over 4 miles of hiking trails in the park that are accessible from the campground.
