The Timberline RV Resort in Sturgeon Lake is a large campground with daily, weekly and monthly rates. The campground is spread out over 100 acres and has RV sites in wooded areas. Guest can also stay in cabins. On the grounds are an outdoor heated pool with a snack bar, convenience store, recreation building, a pond where you can fish, hiking trails and a chip-and-putt golf course. The resort also has bath rooms, showers, a laundry facility and a community center. Sites can also be rented on a seasonal basis. There are discounts for campers who pay in advance as well as for senior citizens. At the entrance of the campground is a gate that requires a security card to get in, so safety is an added bonus.

Ray & Marges Resort in Sturgeon Lake is open from May 1 to October first. The resort has campsites as well a game room with pool tables and a bar where alcohol is served. Snacks, ice cream and bait can all be purchases on the property. Campers can also rent boats and pontoons.
The campgrounds also has facilities that are handicap accessible. Open year round, Ray & Marge's has 50 full hook-up RV sites, most of which have water, sewer and electric. A few of them only have water and electric. There are also what the owner described as "a few'' tent sites. All of the sites have access to a restroom with showers.

Located six miles to the northeast of Sturgeon Lake, the Moose Lake State Park is open year round and has varying camping facilities. There are 33 drive-in sites and 20 sites with 30-amp electric. The limit on RV lengths is 60 feet. Two sites are also handicap accessible. A shower building is located in the main campground. There is also a site for groups with tents. Located around the grounds are vault toilets, fire pits, picnic tables, fire rings and and water faucets. In addition to fishing in Moose Lake, campers can also enjoy the park's hiking and biking trails.
