The Ham Lake Campground is located about five miles straight north of Blaine right off of Highway 65 on Ham Lake. There are 10 tent sites, five with a lake view, and 72 with electric and water hookup for RVs and campers. Sites come with a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include: showers, electric and water hook-ups, and pump service. Activities include: swimming, fishing, canoe and boat rental and bike rental.

The Rice Creek Campground is located in Lino Lakes, Minnesota about five miles straight east of Blaine. It is located in the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park Reserve and has more than 5,000 acres of natural and scenic wilderness to explore. Both tents and campers are welcome with amenities including: water and electric hookup, showers and bathrooms, sanitary dump station and wood for sale. Activities include: hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, golfing at nearby Chomonix Golf Course and biking.

The Ham Lake Baptist Camp and Retreat Center is located about five miles north of Blaine. It is owned and operated by six Baptist General Conference churches. Church-affiliated groups can use the facilities for free but outside groups are also welcome at reasonable rates. The campground has a Chalet which is ideal for big group functions. The Kitchen is fully functional with a stove, fridge and microwave. The bunk room has 12 beds, and the loft has a couch and more than 10 mattresses and can accommodate at least 20 people. Bathrooms with showers are also available. Activities include: volleyball, carpet ball, swing sets, canoes, paddle boats, fire pits, and 70 acres of woods to hike. No individual camper or tent sites are available.
