Springy Point is on the banks of the Pend Oreille River by the Cabinet and Selkirk Mountains. The area is about 30 minutes from Sandpoint. Campers can use the Long Bridge to hike or bike into Sandpoint. Silver Theme Park, a large amusement and water park, is just 15 minutes from Springy Point. Campsites are basic and include no hookups but do include a dump station, hot showers, toilets, a boat ramp and access to a swimming beach.

Island View Resort is on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille east of Sandpoint. This RV park has its own boat harbor with boat rentals available. Campsites include grassy sites with full hookups, cable TV, wireless Internet and access to laundry facilities and an on-site camp store. Cottage rentals area also available at the resort.
