Shadowy St. Joe Campground is located east of St. Maries on the St. Joe River on six acres. Campsites at this facility are primitive. There are only 14 campsites and they offer no hookups--campsites only offer access to restrooms. Guests at this park can enjoy outdoor recreation like swimming, boating, water skiing and fishing on the adjacent St. Joe River.

Heyburn State Park is made up 5,500 acres of land and 2,300 acres of water; three lakes, Chatcolet, Benewah and Hidden Lakes, are found within this park. Visitors to this area can fish for pike, bass, or pan fish in one of the three lakes. Bird watching is also a popular activity with birds such as osprey and blue heron commonly spotted here. Campsites as this facility offer some primitive sites and some with full hookups. All campsites have access to restrooms with shower facilities, a boat ramp and dock, and a playground.

Harrison City RV Park is located south of Coeur d'Alene near the Coeur d'Alene Lake. Campsites at this park include 21 waterfront RV sites with full hookups, dump station and access to restrooms with showers. Visitors to this park will have plenty of opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, canoeing and biking at the nearby lake area.
