Pocatello, the second largest city in Idaho, is located in the southeastern part of the state. The city is located along the Portneuf River, near the Oregon Trail. The park features about seven miles of hiking trails with maps, and a boat launch area where canoes and kayaks are available for rent. Campfire programs are held seasonally at the park.
