Where to Fill a Keg in Tucson, Arizona

If you need a keg filled (or exchanged) in the Tucson area, your best bets are local breweries, homebrew supply shops, and some liquor stores. Note: Arizona law requires kegs to be purchased/filled through licensed retailers; you cannot fill your own keg at a brewery taproom unless they hold a specific license.

Breweries That Fill/Exchange Kegs (Call Ahead)

• Catalina Brewing Co. (Tucson)
• Dragoon Brewing Company (Tucson)
• Borderlands Brewing Company (Tucson)
• Tucson Hop Shop (bottle shop with keg program)

Homebrew Supply Stores (CO₂ fills, equipment, sometimes keg sales)

• A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Shop (Tucson)
• The Brew & Grow Shop (Peoria – Phoenix metro)
• Homebrew Heaven (Phoenix)
• Fermenter's Supply Co. (Mesa)
• Total Wine & More (multiple AZ locations – often carry kegs & CO₂)

Other Options

• Liquor stores – Major chains (BevMo, Total Wine, local shops) often sell/ exchange full kegs (Bud, Coors, craft).
• Bars & restaurants – Some will fill a clean, certified keg for regulars (rare, ask manager).

Tip: Always call ahead to confirm availability, pricing, deposit, and whether they fill your keg or only exchange theirs.
