Cabin Campgrounds on the Beach in Florida

From the the southern Florida Keys to the Florida panhandle, visitors will be pleased to discover that beach cabin rentals are available at many of the state's award-winning state parks. Families will be able to save money by investing in an annual family park pass, which entitles them to free and reduced costs on most park-related fees and rentals, including entry and day-use fees.
  1. Bahia Honda State Park

    • The Florida Keys are one of Florida's most unique natural features. Bahia Honda is toward the southern end of the string of islands, and offers visitors of all ages an assortment of facilities. Only in the Keys can you watch the sun rise and set over open ocean waters and explore remarkable coral reefs. Anglers can fish from shore or launch a boat at the site's boat ramp. There are three duplex cabins for a total of six available rentals, all placed on stilts and overlooking the open water. One cabin is equipped with a wheelchair lift for accessibility.

    Cayo Costa State Park

    • The Gulf of Mexico is beautiful at sunset.

      Cayo Costa State Park is in the southwestern park district, not far from Fort Meyers, Florida. This secluded park is accessible only by boat. Charter services are available, as well as a boat ramp and docking facilities. Cabins are not furnished with running water or electricity, and have an outdoor grill for cooking. Cold showers, restrooms and potable water are all available at the mainland park facility. Each cabin sleeps up to 6 people. It should also be noted that these are some of the least expensive beach cabins available for daily or weekly rental, due to the lack of modern conveniences.

    Topsail Hill Preserve

    • Topsail Hill Preserve boasts over 3 miles of white "sugar sand" beaches and several freshwater dune lakes, where fishing includes bream, bass and other inland fish varieties. Visitors may enjoy several of Florida's natural habitats, including beaches, highland scrub oak and pine forest, and marsh. Cabin bungalows are available at Gregory E. Moore RV campground and are completely furnished, including cable television and microwave. Cabins sleep up to six people, with two bedrooms per cabin. Weekly and monthly rentals are available.
