Campgrounds in Cocoa Beach Florida Area

The area surrounding Cocoa Beach, Florida, boasts many RV and tent camping facilities containing a variety of amenities. Nearby beaches provide swimming and sunbathing opportunities. Other nearby attractions include the Kennedy Space Center, Brevard Zoo, Ron Jon Surf Shop, golfing, museums and the Cocoa Beach Maritime Hammock Preserve.
  1. Jetty Park Campground

    • Located fewer than 8 miles from Cocoa Beach in Cape Canaveral, Jetty Park remains a favorite spot from which to watch space launches from Kennedy Space Center. The Jetty Park Campground boasts more than 150 campsites that range from tent-only no-service sites to full RV hookups including water, sewer, electricity and dump stations. Electric hookups accommodate 20, 30 and 50-amp service.

      In addition to 24-hour security, amenities at the campground include laundry facilities, bathrooms with hot showers, a camp store, bait shop, grills, picnic tables, a beach-side snack bar, private beach access, a playground and picnic pavilions for gatherings. Dogs on leashes welcome.

    SonRise Palms Christian RV & Rally Park

    • Located 15 miles from Cocoa Beach in Cocoa, SonRise Palms boasts 83 RV-only campsites with full hook-ups offering 30- or 50-amp electric service, water, sewer, laundry facilities, a bathhouse, a heated pool and Wi-Fi RV Internet access. Pets are welcome, but guests should check with SonRise on breed restrictions.

    Manatee Hammock Campground

    • Located 22 miles form Cocoa Beach, Manatee Hammock Campground boasts 147 RV campsites with electric, water and sewer, 35 campsites with electric and water but no sewer and an area for group tent camping.

      Amenities at the campground include laundry facilities, hot showers, a swimming pool and Indian River Lagoon access including a 197-foot pier. Manatee Hammock offers Wi-Fi Internet access in the reception center, shuffleboard courts, a horseshoe pit, a grilling area and a pavilion for gatherings. In addition to 26 acres of shaded park and wildlife viewing opportunities, Manatee Hammock also provides viewing for launches from nearby Kennedy Space Center. Two dogs allowed per campsite with leash and clean-up rules strictly enforced.

    Wickham Park Campground, Melbourne

    • Located closer than 16 miles from Cocoa Beach, Wickham Park Campground boasts 88 campsites with electric hookups and water. Campground amenities include bathrooms, two unguarded swimming lakes, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, softball fields, volleyball courts, exercise trail, archery range, disc-golf course, and dog park.
