Mexico Beach is part of the Florida panhandle, located on the Gulf Coast along scenic Highway 98. It is roughly 18 miles north of Port Saint Joe and nearly 24 miles south of Panama City. It's considered a resort town with its white sandy beaches, recreational fishing and diving. Whether you are staying in a hotel, renting a house or camping, everything is considered to be within walking distance to the beach.
Rustic Sands Resort Campgrounds is open year-round. This campground offers guests free Internet and cable television. While staying here, you can fish, boat, swim or participate in sports along the beach like volleyball or Frisbee. The campground has its own billiard table, reading library, shuffleboard and swimming pool. There's a camp store onsite to purchase whatever you may have left behind. Guests can also enjoy the fitness room, clubhouse, snack bar or play on the playground. Pets are allowed, but there is a four pet minimum per campsite. All dogs must remain on a leash and owners must clean up after them.

El Governor Motel owns a campground right across the street. All campsites are shaded, and the beach is about a half-mile walk away. There are showers, picnic tables and laundry facilities on site available for use. If you reserve a spot at the campground, you can also use the motel's pool and pool bar or visit the nearby gift shop, convenience or package store located inside the motel's lobby.

Islander RV Park is home to 30 campsites and is open year round. There is a bathroom and facility located right there in the park. While staying here, feel free to pull up one of the park's tables to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner.
