Big Bass Village sits on Lake Rousseau, making it ideal for campers planning to fish. The campground offers traditional camping spaces as well spots for recreational vehicles (RV). Close by is the Crystal Lodge Dive Center, another place where you can snorkel or get SCUBA trained to dive with the manatees. They also offer glass bottom boat tours. Village Pines Campground is located right next to Goethe State Forest, where visitors can hike, ride bikes or horses and go fishing. For dining options nearby, Sunrise Outpost offers sandwiches, burgers and shrimp, and Blue Gator Tiki Bar and Restaurant features fried alligator and frog legs.
Less than two miles from Inglis, Lake Rousseau RV and Fishing Resort (lakerousseaurvpark.com) offers small rental lodges, in addition to 120 RV spots and tent campgrounds.
