Lazy Acres RV Park & Campground is in the small town of Elberta, Alabama, which is approximately 10 miles northwest of Perdido Beach. The campground, located in a wooded area along a lake, has 46 RV sites with hook-ups for water and 15-, 30- and 50-amp electric service, as well as phone and modem connections. Of those sites, 21 are pull-throughs that can handle RVs up to 65 feet in length. Campers can also stay at tent sites. The property has a bathhouse, dump station, restrooms, a laundry facility, a meeting room and a swimming pool. Guests can fish free at the lake, and groups are welcome. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available.

Gulf Islands National Seashore is located approximately 30 miles to the east of Perdido Beach, in Florida, where campers can find the Fort Pickens campground. The campground has RV sites with water and electric hook-ups, restrooms and showers. Recreational activities that are easily accessible from the campground include shore fishing, boating, and swimming in either Pensacola Bay or the Gulf of Mexico. The park also has several hiking trails, a visitors' center, nature trails for campers to view wildlife, and multiple picnic areas. The campgrounds beaches have lifeguards.

Playa Del Rio RV Park is situated less than a mile from where the Florida/Alabama state line crosses Perdido Key. The park, located on the north side of Perdido Key, has water, sewer, 20-, 30- and 50-amp electric hook-ups as well as wireless Internet and cable TV. Additional amenities on the property include boat slip rentals, a fishing and crabbing pier, restrooms with showers, a laundry facility and a picnic area with grills. The Gulf of Mexico beaches are on the other side of the key, but the campground does have a marina.
