Hurricane River Campground is located 12 miles west of Grand Marais on County Road H-58 and it is situated along the shore of Lake Superior. The campground offers 11 campsites in the lower part of the grounds and 10 in the upper section. Both camping areas include one campsite accessible for disabled use.

Twelvemile Beach Campground is located 15 miles west of Grand Marais off Alger County Road H-58. The campground offers 36 sites, all of which are located on a plateau above Twelvemile Beach on Lake Superior. There are two disabled accessible campsites.
Three sets of stairs lead to the beach. There is also a picnic area and plenty of parking. The White Birch Interpretive Trail starts and ends at the campground. The North Country National Scenic Trail winds its way through the campground.

Woodland Park campground offers 110 camping sites in the main area, as well as a private, no-frills camping area that can hold 15 campers. Woodland Park Campground features two fully equipped bathhouses, laundry facilities, play areas for children, beach access and a drinking water fill station. Nearby is a recreation area featuring tennis courts, skateboard ramps, baseball diamond and horshoe pits.
