The Franciscan Lakeside Lodge is on Lake Tahoe's north shore in Tahoe Vista, California. The lodge has cottages, suites and rooms for rent. Cabins on the lake or in the woods are available. The Franciscan Lodge grounds have a heated pool for times when the lake is too cool, a boat launch and a pier. All lodgings include a kitchenette and flat screen televisions. Rustic Cottage Resort is tucked away in the tall pine trees of Tahoe Vista. The resort houses 19 old-style cottages which were once part of a logging camp. Each cottage layout is unique, but all come with kitchens with appliances, televisions and DVD players, and a furnished porch. Some cottages include fireplaces. Rustic Cottages are close to golf courses, beaches and mountain bike or rafting rentals.

The Tahoe Sands Resort is also in the north shore area of Tahoe Vista. The resort offers a "lake side" and a "mountain side." On the lake side, are free standing cabins, along with a pool and Jacuzzi. This side has a large grass area for lounging, as well as a private beach at the lake. The mountain side of the resort has larger rental homes, with views of the lake, barbecue grills, patios and pools. For recreation, the resort has a volleyball and basketball court, kayak or snow sled rentals, a fire pit and a putting green.

Granlibakken Conference Center and Lodge is in Tahoe City, California. Accommodations vary from studios, to suites, to townhouses ranging from one to eight bedrooms. Larger units have a kitchen, dining room and fireplace. Many of the floor plans have decks that face the beauty of the mountains and trees. The Lodge features a ropes course, skiing or sledding on a private hill on the grounds, and transportation into Lake Tahoe to go shopping. The Lodge also has a breakfast buffet, snack bar and a pub.
