Located just outside of Marshall, Illinois, Mill Creek Park offers access to 811 lake acres with 39 miles of shoreline where guests can enjoy boating, fishing, water skiing and off-boat swimming. The 2,600 acres of the park contain numerous trails marked for hiking, ATV riding and horseback riding, as well as several picnic shelters and playgrounds. Six of the cabins at Mill Creek come fully furnished, with air conditioning, bathrooms, full kitchens with cookware and exterior charcoal grills, but no linens provided. The seventh cabin option, the Hickory Cabin, has beds, a dining set, a small fridge and a microwave, but no interior plumbing.

Formerly known as Lakeside Cabin Rentals, Lithia offers a variety of house and cabin rentals with views of the on-site catch-and-release pond. While the cabins aren't directly lakeside, Lake Shelbyville and the Lithia Springs Marina are only a quarter mile from the grounds. The cabins come in a variety of sizes and styles and all feature private bathrooms, satellite TV, central heating and air conditioning and access to exterior picnic tables, charcoal grills and campfire rings. Some cabins also offer the benefit of a covered porch.

Located just under three miles from Lake Shelbyville, Robin Hood Woods provides its resort guests with a large two-and-a-half-acre fishing pond that provides lovely waterfront views for many of the cabin rentals. After a little fishing, guests can enjoy swimming in the resort's in-ground pool, playing billiards and video games in the game room, and playing horseshoes while the kids enjoy the on-site playground. Cabin accommodations at Robin Hood Woods all feature a satellite color TV, full-size bathroom, heating and air conditioning, a picnic table, porch, barbecue grill and a fire ring. Full kitchens are available in larger units, while smaller cabins might only have a small fridge and microwave.
