The three bedrooms, designed to be suites with private baths, have either queen- or king-sized beds. The five-bedroom, three-bath Almost Heaven lakefront cabin on two acres of land has an indoor sauna, an outdoor hot tub and large decks with lake views. The home has two great rooms, one furnished with a pool table, and an eat-in kitchen with seating for 12. Outdoor amenities include two fire rings and a horseshoe pit. A dock and a man-made beach are steps from the house, and kayaks are included with the rental. Pickup of soiled linens and delivery of clean linens is available for an additional fee. Smokers and pets are not welcome at Almost Heaven.
Not all vacation rentals at Deep Creek Lake are homes with gourmet kitchens and private boat slips, though most are. Deep Creek Lake State Park offers a yurt, camping cabins and three-sided shelters at budget-friendly rates. The park has one mile of shoreline and offers fishing piers, swimming beaches and boat launches.
