Tomato Head lies in downtown Knoxville, just two blocks from a large parking garage and one block from an ATM. Housed within a two-story brick building with arched windows, the casual interior features hardwood floors, ceiling fans and an embossed tin ceiling. The restaurant also includes outdoor dining on its front patio, situated alongside a bike rack. The menu includes such standard cafe fare as salads, calzones, pita sandwiches and pizzas. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh produce from local vendors, as well as such healthy pizza toppings as soy cheese and organic tofu.
The Downtown Grill and Brewery sits two blocks from the East Tennessee History Center and the Tennessee Theatre, the latter of which plays host to both classic film screenings and live performances. Although the restaurant features a casual dress code, the upscale two-story interior includes hardwood floors, sidewalk patio dining and a copper and mahogany bar.
