    Annie Chan's Restuarant

    • Annie Chan's Restaurant occupies an unassuming storefront in Fresh Meadows, a Queens neighborhood south of Chinatown. It has a casual sit down atmosphere without any bells and whistles, but it has become a favorite Chinese restaurant that also serves sushi. Chinese appetizers on the menu include oriental franks, spring rolls, vegetable egg rolls, barbecued spare ribs, veal spare ribs and steamed dumplings with either chicken, beef or vegetables. A number of specialties are also available, including Genertal Tso's chicken, crispy beef or chicken, Tsing Tao steak, rainbow chicken and golden bird's nest. Some of the Japanese dishes served here include black pepper tuna and a variety of sushi and sashimi pieces.

    Tung Shing House

    • Tung Shing House was established in 1971. It's location in Rego Park, Queens opened in 1983. The interior has red paper lanterns, Chinese statues, white tablecloths and warm, inviting lighting. With a friendly wait staff, the restaurant is a casual eatery that still raises the bar for surrounding Chinese restaurants. A private party room is available for reservations of up to 60 people. Parties of 80 people can reserve the terrace and for private functions you can rent the entire restaurant for 200 people. Chef specials include fresh scallops with black pepper sauce, prawns with walnuts, fried salt and pepper fish filets and Peking style pork chop.
