Walk Sydney's wine country with a loved one and climb the Harbour Bridge. Then go to Ayers Rock for the desert's solitude, taking in the beautiful sunsets. The koalas are too cute to pass up--go on safari at Kangaroo Island where you'll see koalas and lots more. You could also fly to Cairns for skydiving and then some of the world's best dive and snorkeling sites of the Great Barrier Reef. After your dive, have a champagne picnic on Lizard Island.
If you're an animal and nature lover, you'll love South Africa. Find accommodations on the 3,000-foot Table Mountain overlooking Cape Town. This will be your base of operations, but you'll take a bush plane north to a game reserve where you'll safari in a Land Rover spotting lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and cape buffalo. If you stay at Singita Sweni Lodge, near Kruger, you may be able to get a massage and a view of the reserve from a wooden and ivory tub.
Switzerland is a skier and hiker's paradise. First stop: the snow-capped Swiss Alps, where mountain peaks can be seen in the serene lakes. Take residence on the Swiss Riviera at one of the great lakeside hotels like Hotel du Lac. Hike in the high country from one chalet to the another. Ski down the lakeside slopes.Then ride a mountain railway through the highest peaks in Europe. The Montreaux Jazz Festival, held every year in July, adds to the fun even more.
