• The building that houses Opera Nightclub used to be an opera house for the Atlanta Women's Club. It has since been transformed into an exclusive nightclub, but has kept its historical aura. Opera Nightclub's main lounge, which is used as a dance club on weekends, includes two levels. Top deejays, hard-pounding music and light and sound shows are some of Opera's main attractions. Opera is generally packed on weekend nights, and the clients "dress to impress."

The Mark Ultralounge

• The Mark Ultralounge is a chic hotel bar without the hotel. Prior to the Mark's inception, its owners noticed that Atlanta did not have an exclusively chic hotel bar, unlike cities such as New York and Miami. The Mark's design team used the inspiration it gained from famous designers such as William Sofield and Ian Schrager to create an ultra lounge for Atlanta---hence the Mark Ultralounge.

  The Mark's multicultural clientele includes people of occupations, including artists and business individuals. The dance club, which caters to a mixed crowd, plays all types of music, including Hip Hop and electronic. The club has three major rooms designed to host special events such as birthdays and corporate events. Notably, the Mark's corporate client list includes IBM and Microsoft.

Leopard Lounge

• True to its name, the Leopard Lounge is decorated in a leopard color scheme. The lounge's mid-century contemporary décor is appropriate for partygoers seeking a retro ambiance. The club has three bars, stone fireplaces, a polished hardwood floor and original oil paintings; the lower floor has a deejay and a dance floor. Patrons wanting a more laid-back atmosphere can sit back and relax on the outdoor patio.

  On Friday nights, the Leopard Lounge has drink specials, and there is no cover all night. Every Saturday night, the lounge features Ladies Night, for which there is no cover. Ladies' first drink is free until midnight, and a deejay spins all night. The Leopard Lounge also caters to private parties and special events.
