Adventure Club is a social and travel club for singles and couples. The club, originally established in 1987, began as a social club for singles in the Atlanta area but later expanded to include couples as well as members from areas outside of Atlanta. Membership benefits include tremendous group discounts. Past travel excursions include an eight-day Acapulco cruise, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Myrtle Beach and a New Year's trip to Las Vegas. Membership dues are $35 for a single and $60 for doubles (married couples, dating couples and friends) with no renewal costs. The club is able to arrange travel without the additional middleman costs of wholesalers and travel agencies by functioning as a travel agent associate and finding the best values.
Travel Club of Atlanta (TCOA) is a group that is "all about fun." There is no cost to become a member of this group and registration is a simple process that can be completed online in about five minutes. The TCOA hosts 12 or more trips a year, traveling all around the world to places such as Belize, Egypt, Costa Rica and Fiji just to name a few.
This particular group "designed by women for women" founded in 1992 is the leading tour group in North America. This particular travel club specializes in smaller groups and more personalized service. The club sponsors trips around the globe. Membership benefits include full access to the club website (the benefits and specials page includes an extensive list of great values only available to club members), e-newsletter and eligibility to travel with the club at significantly discounted rates. Membership also includes savings on travel packages with parent company Club ABC Tours so members enjoy the perks of two travel clubs for the price of one. Membership dues range from $39 to $129 depending upon one-year up to a five-year membership.
The Atlanta Fundraising Foundation functions as a social and travel club of a different caliber. The foundation is an approved non-profit organization (currently doing business as Atlanta Travel & Social Club) whose mission is to raise funds for selected charitable organizations by hosting a variety of events and trips for members. In addition to savings on travel, buyers have the option to purchase either travel, social or golf memberships separately. A free travel membership is included with the purchase of a social membership at $10 per month or $100 for a year. Cost for travel membership separately is $5 per month or $50 for the entire year. VIP and lifetime membership is also available.
