The members of the club let their hostess know what sort of men or women they would be interested in meeting based on criteria such as age, profession, hobbies and background. From there, the hostess organizes a dinner for a group of eight people, four men and four women, she thinks would be interested in meeting. Dinners are held a short hour drive from Rome in Atlanta, Georgia, and can be arranged on either weeknights or weekends. The dinner is the only activity planned ,and the diners are left, after a quick drink with their hostess, to have dinner, conversation and an opportunity to meet new friends or possible love matches. The restaurants for the dinners are new, hip places chosen for the specific likes of each set of diners for the evening. The 8 at 8 club takes credit for over 200 marriages since 1998.
Atlanta Tall Club is a social organization where tall singles can meet other tall people.
