Rendezvous (no website; 126 E. 2nd Ave., Hutchinson; 620-664-9393) is a nightclub and bar located in downtown Hutchinson. The club attracts an upscale crowd and serves comparable drink and food items. In recent years, Rendezvous has become a popular hangout for the local, young Latino community located in and around the Hutchinson/Wichita metropolitan area. According to the Club Planet website, anyone visiting the nightclub should "be prepared to shell out some cash."
The W Nightclub (hutchw.com), a restaurant, bar and music venue is one of the premier entertainment locales within the city of Hutchinson. The club has hosted some of the top country music artists like Andy Griggs and Mark Wills during its lifetime and boasts one of the premier under-500 capacity venues in the Midwest. In addition, the W regularly hosts comedians from around the country. The W is open every Friday, Saturday and one Thursday a month.
Located on the east side of town is the stylish and trendy Stage 3 nightclub (no website; 1000 E. 4th Ave., Hutchinson; 620-665-6300). Stage 3 boasts a lounge in addition to its bustling bar and club area. Be prepared to dance to club music and stay out late at Stage 3. Singles can enjoy the chance to mingle in an exciting but down home central Kansas environment. Stage 3 is known for its stylish but affordable drinks and its rousing nightlife.
Located in nearby Wichita (just about a 30-minute drive) is Doc Howard's Nightclub (dochowardslounge.com). The club's website bills it as "the biggest night club in Wichita." Doc Howard's hosts a wide range of music and events but specializes in jazz and hip-hop. The club is home to an impressive light and sound system and is open every week from Thursday through Saturday.
