Based out of Detroit, TCA Travel Club started in 1996 and became a worldwide organization that consists of people who enjoy traveling and being around those with similar interests. Trips range from viewing a show in Chicago to attending the Toronto Film Festival. TCA organizes weekend travel events, family vacations and trips abroad. A one-time payment fee is required to join the TCA Travel Club.

The nonprofit True Blue Travel is affiliated with the University of Michigan and is geared toward the university's alumni association members. True Blue is a travel club that explores famous sites and cities all over the world. Itineraries range from taking a cruise through Greece and Turkey to traveling in Israel and Jordan. True Blue Travel only requires that one member in your party be a UM alumni association member. Members of the association can be students, parents of students, spouses and teachers. Guests are allowed on all True Blue Travel trips. Membership fees for the alumni association can be paid both annually or all at once.

Founded 40 years ago, the Nomads travel club is located out of Detroit. Nomads is a nonprofit club that travels all throughout the United States and the world. Trips range from exploring and shopping in Paris to experiencing the "southern hospitality" in Arkansas. The travel club owns its own Boeing 727, making traveling quicker and easier. Nomads has a one-time initiation fee plus annual dues.
