Nashville, Tennessee is most known for its large music scene. This is how the city earned the nickname "Music City." The city is where musicians like Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton rose to fame and recorded music with the famous "Nashville Sound." Nashville is also home to the Country Music Hall of Fame, and The Ryman Audiorium, which was the home of the Grand Ole Opry for many years. You will visit the back alley of the Ryman Auditorium leading to Honky Tonk Row, where many celebrities spent time after the Grand Ole Opry.     Grand Ole Opry House Backstage Tour

    • This guided tour will take you around the Grand Ole Opry House. You will be able to learn about what happens behind the scenes at the Grand Ole Opry. There will even be some time for you to explore and see the memorabilia in the halls. As of January 2011, this tour is about one to two hours long and costs $19 for adults, $14 for children aged 4 to 11, and children under age 4 are free.

    • This tour will show you landmarks such as Fort Nashborough, the state capitol, Music Row and Studio B, which is where Elvis Presley recorded 100 of his top 10 hits. Then, you will take a self-guided tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Afterwards, the tour will visit the Ryman Auditorium. At the end of the tour you will hear live country music at Legends Corner on Honky Tonk Row. This tour lasts for four hours, and it costs $46 for adults, $23 for children and $45 for seniors, as of January 2011.
