Boston is the largest city and the capital of Massachusetts.   1. Freedom Trail

    • The Freedom Trail stretches for 2 ½ miles, taking visitors to 16 of the city's most historic sites, including Paul Revere's House, the U.S.S. Constitution, Faneuil Hall and Bunker Hill. The trail also transports visitors through the Charleston region and the North End, Boston's famed Italian neighborhood. Visitors can embark on a self-guided tour using the clearly marked path or may book tours led by guides dressed in Colonial-era clothing.

    Fenway Park

    • Fenway Park serves as the home to Major League Baseball's legendary Boston Red Sox franchise. The stadium opened its doors back in 1912 and now reigns as the oldest ballpark in baseball. Visitors may catch the Red Sox in action during the regular season from early April through late September. The stadium offers tours of the famed facility during the off-season and in-season, schedule permitting.

    Cambridge

    • Cambridge, Massachusetts resides three miles northwest of Boston. The city is home to Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, two of the nation's premiere higher learning institutions. Visitors may book tours of the famous college campuses. Cambridge also features a variety of boutique shops, restaurants and bars, many of which reside near Harvard Square.

    John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum

    • The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum resides upon 13 acres of land, offering oceanfront views. The library and museum examines the life and presidential administration of John F. Kennedy through 25 multimedia exhibits, three theaters and artifacts pertaining to campaigns, the space race, the Kennedy White House and First Lady Jackie Kennedy. A museum store and rental space for private events also reside on the premises.

    New England Aquarium

    • Residing on Boston's Central Wharf, the New England Aquarium sits perched along the city's waterfront region. The aquarium, dating back to 1969, features its own IMAX theatre and classrooms used for educational lectures. Visitors can enjoy exhibits featuring a variety of aquatic life, including penguins, seals, sea dragons, sea turtles and jelly fish. The aquarium offers rates for large groups and guided tours for school children.
