    Keens Steakhouse

      Established in 1885 in the heart of the Herald Square theater district, Keens Steakhouse was a popular hangout for actors and artists of that era. Today the landmark restaurant and banquet hall still stands and operates a full bar, restaurant and four banquet halls in its original location. The decor features dark wooden walls lined with framed photographs and paintings, and the focal point of the main dining room is the oversize wood-burning fireplace. Keens offers lunch, dinner, dessert, a pub menu and daily specials.
