On a bus tour, there are numerous photo opportunities when it goes to the Hoover Dam, Mather Point and the Canyon's new visitor center. The tour highlight is the walk along the Grand Canyon's South Rim to Yavapai Point.
A helicopter tour gives you a bird's-eye view of Boulder City, the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, the Colorado River and, of course, the Grand Canyon. On your way back, you can admire the lights of the Las Vegas Strip.
A jeep tour is the only way to see both the top and the bottom of the Grand Canyon while staying on solid ground. Your adventure starts with a tour at the Grand Canyon Caverns, from where you hop on to a jeep to start the drive down to the canyon bottom and toward the Colorado River.
All of the tours include lunch and several opportunities for photos at scenic spots. Bus tours pick up passengers from their hotel and helicopter tours include transportation to the airports. Jeep tours, however, do not include transportation to the tour meeting location.
Bus and jeep tours are full-day tours, leaving early in the morning and returning after 6 p.m. Helicopter tours are about three hours long, with several departure time options during the day.
