Restaurants Close to Disneyland California

Southern California's Disneyland, the oldest of the theme parks operated by the Walt Disney Company, offers visitors a choice of several themed restaurants within its borders. However, for those who want a break from the land of Disney, dozens of restaurants of varying price ranges and cuisines can be found within a short distance of the attraction in the city of Anaheim.

Anaheim White House
- The Anaheim White House bills itself as the only "boutique" restaurant in Orange County. Just minutes away from Disneyland, the restaurant is housed in a historic landmark building that is over 100 years old. The featured cuisine of Anaheim White House is Northern Italian. Many celebrities and politicians--including President Jimmy Carter--have dined at the high-end restaurant. It has lunch, dinner and health conscious menus; there's also a menu just for kids. It also offers a Sunday brunch. Anaheim White House is open seven days per week.

The Catch
- The Catch is located just two miles from Disneyland. It specializes in fresh seafood. The restaurant is over 30 years old, and it's very close to Angel Stadium. The restaurant was awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for its wine list. The Catch hosts a Happy Hour on weekdays in its lounge area. Mimi's Café
- Mimi's Cafe is a within walking distance of Disneyland. It specializes in standard American fare, and it's also home to a bakery. Its moderately priced menu features heavy meat dishes and a "Fresh and Fit" selection for diet-conscious customers. While it is part of a 22-restaurant chain, it is a family-owned and operated business. The restaurant is housed in a French cottage-themed building. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Juan Pollo
- For those on a tight budget, Juan Pollo is a Southern California-based takeout restaurant that avoids the usual fast food burger fare. It is located approximately four miles from Disneyland. The popular chain serves Mexican-style rotisserie chicken. The menu is simple and includes combos featuring chicken and other Mexican- side dishes, such as tortillas, beans, rice and potato salad.
