Disneyland California Adventure Restaurants

Disney's California Adventure, located next to Disneyland, is a theme park that aims to celebrate the richness, culture and diversity of the Golden State. In addition to the many immigrants, entrepreneurs, entertainers and explorers who have become a significant part of California's culture, food and wine are a very important aspect of the state's culture as well. Disney's California Adventure offers a variety of restaurants, from dining with Disney princesses to Mediterranean-inspired dishes accompanied by fine wine.
  1. Full Service Restaurants

    • For guests in search of a leisurely and memorable meal, Disney's California Adventure offers two restaurants. Ariel's Grotto is a character-dining experience complete with music, food and the company of Disney princesses. The undersea-themed restaurant features a fixed-price menu, with options ranging from pasta to seafood soup. Guests 21 and over may enjoy cocktails and appetizers upstairs at the open-air Cove Bar. Character dining is only available for lunch and dinner, but the restaurant is open for breakfast as well. Reservations are recommended. Although Ariel's Grotto is fun for all ages, older guests may prefer dining at Wine Country Trattoria, where the atmosphere is reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. Enjoy a glass of wine from more than 25 selections on the Mendocino Terrace or order Mediterranean and California-inspired specialties such as seafood, braised meats, pasta, paninis and tiramisu. Wine Country Trattoria is open for lunch and dinner, and reservations are recommended.

    Counter-service Restaurants

    • If you want to grab a quick lunch and get back to exploring the park, counter-service restaurants may be your best option. For hot dogs, head to Award Wieners. Baker's Field Bakery, Pacific Wharf Cafe and Studio Catering Co. offer sandwiches, salads and soups. Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill features Mexican food, while The Lucky Fortune Cookery serves made-to-order rice bowls. If All-American cuisine is what you crave, stop by Taste Pilots' Grill for top-your-own burgers, chili fries, ribs, onion rings and chicken sandwiches.

    Snacks and Drinks

    • For a mid-day break from the heat, grab a cold ice cream treat at Bur-r-r Bank Ice Cream or Catch a Flave, or head to Schmoozie's for a refreshing fruit smoothie. For a healthier option, fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as other grab-and-go snacks are available at Fairfax Market. Guests 21 and older have two additional refreshment options: Sonoma Terrace at the Golden Vine Winery and Rita's Baja Blenders. At Sonoma Terrace, taste various varietals of wine with the assistance of a wine expert in a soothing environment. If a margarita is your drink of choice, Rita's Baja Blenders offers several flavors of frozen margaritas.
