Make your Disney resort reservations online at the Walt Disney World website, by calling 1-407-W-DISNEY or by using your favorite travel agent. However you make your reservations, you should receive a reservation confirmation number. Save your confirmation information, as you will need to refer to it later.
Log into the Disney website 10 days from the start of your stay. Click the "My Disney Vacation" button. This will bring up your reservation information. You will immediately see the Online Check-In Service section on the page.
Fill in your confirmation number and the other requested information. Click "Begin Check-In Now." You will need to enter your telephone number along with some other basic information, such as the number of people traveling in your party and their names. In addition, you will also enter a credit card number to cover additional charges you may incur during your stay at the resort. You can also enter your expected arrival time and put in room preferences, although room preferences cannot be guaranteed.
Confirm your reservation, and print off a copy of the confirmation for your records. This will complete the process on your part. Now Disney will complete the final details of your reservation and prepare the packet for you to pick up upon your arrival.
Go to the check-in counter when you arrive at your Walt Disney World resort, and look for the special area for online check-in service guests only. This line will be located by the Disney online check-in symbol, a box with Mickey ears and a big check mark in it!
Give the Disney employee there your name (have a copy of your online reservation information handy, just in case) and he will give you your Disney vacation packet, complete with room keys. Your check-in process is complete and you have just saved yourself time that will be better spent riding Space Mountain or Toy Story Mania!
