The World Showcase is an area of Epcot, the second-oldest of the four theme parks that make up Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Epcot's World Showcase features 11 countries throughout the world. Guests visit each country's showcase area and shop for items from that country like food and souvenirs. To make the experience even more genuine, cast members working at a specific showcase are from that country.
Start at one end of the World Showcase and work your way around. The showcase is separated from the rest of Epcot by a large lake. You have the option of taking a boat across the lake to the center of the showcase, which is where you'll find the United States showcase, but then you have to backtrack if you want to see the rest of the countries. It's best to start at Mexico on one end or Canada at the other. Assume you're only going to stop at each country once, so purchase souvenirs you want while you're at each showcase.
Stop at each showcase and experience each country. Shopping at the countries of China and Japan can often take the longest because of all the small items available to purchase, whereas Canada is one of the smallest and quickest showcases to experience.
Allow yourself enough time to experience each showcase. Walking around and seeing each country can easily take half a day, so plan accordingly. Be sure to grab a map when you enter Epcot so you can see when shows at each showcase take place. Japan will put on a drum show while the United Kingdom will have a Beatles cover band play. Taking in shows and eating at certain showcases will break up the shopping experience and make it more enjoyable.
