Instructions

Plan ahead. Download maps of each park and read up on the Walt Disney World official website for information and special events taking place at the park each day. Lines will be long during peak season, so make a list of what you really want to do at each park.

    • 2

Discuss rules with family members. Organize meeting times and locations for older kids who will be off on their own for parts of the day, making sure they are equipped with a cell phone. Have everyone in your party wear the same type or color shirt while in the park so they stand out in the crowds. Create or purchase ID tags for each small child to wear that will help park employees locate the family if the child becomes lost.

    • 3

Pack only necessities for the parks. All bags will be checked at the gate; have any bags open and ready for inspection.

    • 4

Plan to arrive at each park when the gates open. Have your maps in hand and be sure everyone knows where you are going first. Head to the back of each park and start your adventures there to avoid the crowds as they enter the park. Obtain fast-passes for the rides you want to experience if the lines are already long.

Consider extra magic hours during peak season. If you are staying at a Disney resort, the park offers extra magic hours for guests, giving them the opportunity to stay extra hours or arrive an extra hour before other guests.
